Why you should buy decorations in Clash of Clans

Have you found yourself often wondering what the purpose of all those decorations in the market are, when playing Clash of Clans? Or do you wonder if they have any real purpose, other than aesthetics? Well, they actually may help you in the long run. While your village may look kinda dull right now, I guarantee that soon, it will look very different. For one, you can use them to make your village pretty sure, but, you can also use them to help in your defense of said village. For example, if you place them close enough together, you force incoming troops to think about their plan of attack, rather than just blinding launching on you. By placing decorations close together, you can choose where troops are allowed to infiltrate your base. Have you ever been about to attack a rival base, and get the messahe saying you can’t deploy there and seen the red outline of the village? This is created when decorations are strategically placed. While opposing troops can walk through them, they can’t launch on them. Now, another great benefit is that you can sell them if needed. Say you’re running low on gold or elixir. No problem, just sell a few decorations. You’re probably not that attached to them, and lets face it, if we are down to this option, it probably means we are broke and looking to score some quick gold or elixir. Sadly, you probably won’t get the full amount back that you paid for it, but gold is gold and when in need….

Another great benefit is that you can buy them frequently, which uses gold from your storages, and leaves it open for collecting more. See, when your stores are full, you can’t collect either gold or elixir, and it just disappears, kind of a drag huh? But if you are frequently buying decorations, you’re probably going to always have some room for collecting from raids etc. So, now that you know how decorations can be helpful, get out there and start spending that gold, after all, what’s better than a secure base… …maybe a pretty one wouldn’t hurt!
